Dry screw vacuum pump

A dry screw vacuum pump contains a pair of synchronously rotating, counter-rotating multi-stage helical rotors within its pump chamber, dividing the chamber into several unconnected cavities. During normal operation, as the two rotors rotate in tandem, an intake chamber is created and its volume continuously increases, drawing in gas. When the volume reaches its maximum, the intake chamber becomes an intermediate chamber. The intermediate chamber moves to the right, transporting gas from the inlet to the outlet. When the intermediate chamber connects to the outlet channel, it becomes an exhaust chamber. The exhaust chamber decreases in volume, discharging gas. Once all the gas has been discharged, the next intermediate chamber connects to the exhaust channel. This cycle repeats continuously, creating a sustained pumping effect.

Dry screw vacuum pumps can be classified into LG type constant pitch screw vacuum pumps and LGB type variable pitch screw vacuum pumps.

Dry screw vacuum pumps are suitable for pumping various gases and are applicable to processes such as vacuum brazing, vacuum sintering, vacuum annealing, vacuum coating, vacuum smelting, vacuum impregnation, vacuum drying, vacuum distillation, vacuum conveying, vacuum adsorption, vacuum packaging, and vacuum casting. They are widely used in aerospace, electronics, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, semiconductors, coating, food packaging, freeze drying, and casting industries.

Note:
1. The oil quantities listed above are for reference only. They are typically fluorinated and mineral oils. Pump oil and grease are included with the equipment at the factory.
2. The cooling water volumes listed above are based on an ambient temperature of 30℃ and a cooling water inlet temperature of 20℃. The volumes may vary depending on the type of circulating water used. The water pressure should be 0.15–0.25 MPa, with the inlet pressure exceeding the return pressure by at least 0.1 MPa.
3. LG screw vacuum pumps are constant lead screw vacuum pumps; LGB screw vacuum pumps are variable lead screw vacuum pumps.
4. The inlet and exhaust pipe diameters shown in the table are for a single pump. For inlet and exhaust pipe diameters of non-single pump equipment, please refer to the outline drawing.
